Studio Rental Conditions

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

We are always on hand, should you have any questions or concerns - just pop into the office. Our contact details are also on the fridge.

OVERTIME

Overtime will be charged at R375 per hour. If you know that your day will run late, please contact us before the shoot to request an extended day and we will quote accordingly.

BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE

Because the studio is in high demand, we suggest you tentatively book your shoot days well in advance and confirm your booking as soon as possible.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations within 48 hours of your shoot will be charged at 50% of the quoted rate. Cancellations within 24 hours before the shoot, or on the day of the shoot, will be charged in full - this is not negotiable.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

A studio booking can only be confirmed by a 100% up-front payment.

PAYMENT

• Should your shoot be delayed or run into overtime, the appropriate fees (within reason) will be added to the initial invoice and the order number will be amended.
• Your outstanding balance should be settled within 7 days after your studio time/shoot is completed.

DAMAGES & THEFT

The client will be held responsible for any damages to Moonshine property or theft incurred.

POWER OUTAGES

We will not be held responsible for the City Council’s electrical load-shedding or power outages. However we do have a backup solar-panel/inverter/battery system which can last up to 4 hours if energy is conserved accordingly.

If your shoot requires a “heavy” demand for electricity, we will provide you with contact details for a generator supplier, but hire and fuel costs will be for your own account; the Moonshine Studio will not cover any related expenses.
